TED talk 6

1. The speaker who gave the talk was Clay Shirky. He was informing us about the SOPA and PIPA acts that congress is trying to pass.

2. In the talk clay ws giving details about what congress is trying to do by passing SOPA and PIPA. He said that congress in trying to police the internet by making it illegel to share media that isn't yours. They want to stop the process of downloading pictures and images that aren't yours. He stated that congress is basically changing innocent until proven guilty to guilty till proven innocent. Thats not true but that is wht it seems like they are doing. He said that the bills more than likely won't be passed because of the failures in the past for trying to do the same thing.

3. The talk didn't change my train of thought because I knew about this subject already. I don't think that the bills will pass and if they do pass someone will find there way around it, they always do. Congress's attempts in the past were failures so this will, more than likely, be a failure too.
